Wanted to share with you that William and I were a big success at the Dalmatian National Specialty. Not only did he pass his coach dog certification, but he, by far, did the best out of all 12 dogs!! He is a great dog, as I'm sure Scott told you, but I wouldn't have had the confidence to enter the competition if not for the exceptional instruction and experience training with Scott (and Karry).

Thank you so much and please pass on my thanks to Scott! Thought you might like some photos.

This is my favorite that our photographers took and I thought you might like it too!

I wanted to express how happy we are that we decided to have your wedding carriage as part of our daughter's wedding at The Winery at Bull Run on Sunday. It was by far the most special/unique part of the wedding.

The ride from the winery to the ceremony site gave my husband and daughter very special time together. It was such a nice touch that the driver drove up on the grass and dropped them at the end of the aisle and waited for my daughter and her new husband to ride off together ... breathtaking!!

Thanks again for everything!!

Dear Midge,

I just wanted to let you know how much we appreciated the wonderful hay ride service we received from your company. Your drivers arrived on time, knew exactly what to do and were ready to go exactly when you said they would be able to take their first riders.

The kids all loved the adventure and your drivers were very professional. Because of your drivers' professionalism, everything went so easily and families were very happy about the experience.

Please tell your drivers thank you and we really appreciated all their hard work to make today a success!

Kay Pace and her husband gave her daughter and her son-in law, Craig and Stefani Wareham, a carriage ride for their 25th anniversary, and it ended up with the whole family enjoying the ride in Middleburg.

Our family had the greatest time last Saturday in Middleburg. Stefani and Craig took their boys, and Dick and I along for the ride. A perfect day!

Just wanted to say how absolutely magical our daughter’s wedding was on Saturday 10-19-13! Dixie and the carriage, along with the beautiful bride, stole the show. Breathtaking! The driver was awesome, friendly, on time, and even helped Melissa keep her dress from getting caught in the wheel. I’m told that people were honking and waving and shouting their congratulations as they rode through the neighborhood surrounding the golf course. I don’t think it could have been better.

Believe me, if anyone asks, I’ll definitely let them know about Harmon’s Carriages. I will also promote you on my Facebook page. I think when the professional photos are ready, some will be displayed on the VA Oaks site as well, and there will surely be some of the horse and carriage. I will also remind the venue’s wedding coordinator about your company, just in case people ask her where the carriage came from.

Thanks again for your quick response right from the start. This couldn’t have happened without that. We are overjoyed.

We live in Maryland and got married in Maryland at the Cylburn Arboretum.

From beginning to end, Midge Harmon really helped me pull off this surprise. I hired a horse and carriage as a surprise for my groom. It was under $1000 for 2 hours.

My now husband is totally blind. One of our first trips together was to Busch Gardens in Virginia where he got to meet the famous Clydesdales. I wasn't able to find a Clydesdale but I was able to find a Draft horse which is a cousin of the Clydesdale. She put jingle bells on the harness so he could hear the horse moving.

When the horse and carriage arrived during the ceremony, the guests couldn't figure out where the sound of the jingle bells was coming from. They all had a guess about it. It was as much a surprise for them as it was for my groom.

Seeing him so happy when we were riding in the carriage was one of the best parts of our day. John, the driver. was really great. He held my sunglasses when we were doing pictures and he answered all of my groom's questions about Dixie (our horse).

We really had a great time. We can't thank them enough for all they did to make our day special.

I wanted to send a big thank you for such a wonderful horse, carriage and driver...all were perfect for our wedding and Adam was definitely surprised, more stunned from what his brother told me since he was next to him as Dad (Bruce Giel) and I appeared in the carriage.

I was extremely happy with the service, thank you again!

Hello! I am writing on behalf of my family regarding my son, Nitin Gupta, and his wedding on June 23, 2007. We just wanted to extend our gratitude for the wonderful job that was done by one of your handlers who brought the horse as a part of our Indian tradition. The handler, Bob Caswell's enthusiasm and respect for our customs was greatly appreciated by our family and friends. We could not have asked for a better service. We will be happy to recommend your company to our friends in the future.

Please forward on this message as well as our small token of gratitude which is enclosed to our handler.

Thanks again!

We wanted a "Wow" factor in our marriage celebration, and we were granted this by using the services of Harmon's Carriages. From the very outset of setting up date, time, etc. to the last guest enjoying a carriage ride, it was simply wonderful!

The driver was excellent as well as other employees at the trailer. The guests were overwhelmed by seeing the bride arrive in a horse drawn carriage then being able to take a short ride themselves, a first for most guests.

We would recommend Harmon's Carriages to everyone. By far, this is the best horse drawn carriage service in the Washington Metropolitan area.

Harmon's Carriages are FIRST CLASS!

Natalie and Jim Hill

I was so impressed with the service provided by Harmon's Carriages when I hired them to provide transport for a bride and groom at the end of their reception. The horses were large and stately and the carriage was designed for royalty. It was a wonderful continuation of a magical day and the perfect ending to a fairy tale wedding. I look forward to recommending Harmon's Carriages to future clients.

I didn't want to let this day pass without writing to let you know how pleased we were with the carriage and horses yesterday. What a beautiful job on the braiding of the tails and manes! I have an appreciation for the amount of work that goes into getting your horses ready, trailoring them from your farm into the stressful traffic of Northern Virginia, and hitching up. I'm sure there's a lot more that I don't know, but I do agree that your fee is a bargain for what we received!

John was very professional and personable. The carriage and the pair of horses made a huge statement and our CEO and his family loved it!

Thank you so much for making the event very memorable. I would utilize your services again without hesitation.
